Christina Sims-Hamilton serves as Chief Operating Officer of Code Inc., bringing more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning local government, economic development, finance, operations, community development, nonprofit management, and organizational strategy.
Throughout her distinguished career, Christina has led complex organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and innovation. Her experience includes serving as Deputy Director for the City of South Fulton, Georgia, where she helped oversee municipal operations, policy implementation, and strategic initiatives designed to enhance service delivery and community outcomes. She has also held executive leadership positions in finance, operations, housing and community development, economic development, and federal program administration, managing multimillion-dollar budgets and leading high-performing teams across both the public and nonprofit sectors.
Known for her ability to align strategy with execution, Christina has successfully developed operational frameworks, secured and managed major funding initiatives, implemented organizational improvements, and guided agencies through complex challenges. Prior to her executive leadership roles, Christina served as a financial analyst in the United States Marine Corps, where she developed the discipline, accountability, and financial management expertise that continue to shape her leadership approach today. She later earned a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and has continued to build expertise in finance, economic development, planning, and organizational management throughout her career.
